# Flying to Australia--what airlines should I be checking for cheap fares?

We travelled via China air and found them to be great - I’d definitely be very happy to fly with them if I get the chance to travel overseas again - but if **Gleena** ’s right and Virgin’s kicking butt at the moment, I’d probably go with them. I’ve never tried their international flights, but I’ve had only good experiences with the domestic Virgin Blue.

I can attest that the food on China Airlines is excellent. If in doubt, specify ‘no seafood’ when booking and your meal will reliably consist of some kind of tasty chicken or steak dish.
