I’ve seen wild turkeys fly and even they don’t do a real good job at it. Could a wild turkey survive a fall?
Yes, I think they could survive a fall. They take off and gain altitude in a rather ugly way. But if you’ve ever seen them fly downhill you’ll notice that they are excellent and rather proficient at gliding even though their landings aren’t up to par.
