I’ve always found them to IMPEDE vision in thick fog. I leave em on when I drive, along with the regular headlights, though. I’m with…uh…the Latin guy 🙂 Used to own a Plymouth Sundance RS with factory installed AMBER foglights. Greatest thing since sliced bread - they even cut through fog in daylight. Have also seen people driving the DC beltway with their hazards on in heavy fog - from the driver’s view it’s “strobish” but the amber certainly does cut the fog. As for those really really bright WHITE fog lights - what useless pieces of junk ---

A friend of mine pointed out once that Honda puts the V-tec engine in only the high end model of the civic, but that most of these idiots who drive around in souped-up civics bearing “V-tec” stickers don’t actually drive models that have them. With regards to using fog lights as an acessory - I really wish that this thread was in the pit because then I could express my feelings more freely. Suffice to say it’s extremely annoying to be blinded from behind by blue and green and yellow and pink lights just because some jackass thinks his sorry little toy car looks cooler with all those lights turned on. I really wish cops would hand out more tickets. Oh, and by the way - big plastic spoilers, little tiny fat tires, big metallic trim and fenders, black window tinting, and daytime fog lights do nothing to improve the performance of your car. And it certainly doesn’t make your car look cool. It makes you look just like the minimum-wage idiot that you are.
