LOVE this rooster. can’t stop talking like him as of late. 🙂 I am creating a new character for more of my banana boy silliness, in ode to foghorn. He too is southern. a peach (ha!) inspire me with some things he’d say. such as: I needs me a libation. ---

As I fell asleep last night that line finally popped into my head but I was unwilling to get up and log back on to submit it. Now here you have beaten me to it. That is one of my most favorite lines from any cartoon ever! However, there was another variant used for when Foghorn got all of his feathers blown off: [Foghorn Leghorn] ::donning a new set of feathers:: Fortunately, I keep an extra suit for just such an occasion. I was there some years ago, and right ahead of me were some German tourists. When it was time for the raptor show, one of the birds the handler had was a hawk. She went on to say that “Some people might call it a “chicken hawk,” but there’s really no such thing, other than chasing Foghorn Leghorn in cartoons.” At which point the Germans (three or four of them) all looked at one another quizzically. Even though they didn’t actually say anything, I could just here them saying (in General Burkhalter’s voice) “Vot is da meanink of Fockhorn Leckhorn!” ---
