Came across this thread while searching for a related topic. But after reading some of the posts, thought I might point out to anyone who was thinking about jamming, laser-beaming, shooting or otherwise interfering with a drone that it is a felony under Federal law (18 U.S.C. § 32) to willfully damage or destroy aircraft. It’s a relatively new issue of the rights of landowners vs the property rights of the drone owner that the civil and criminal courts still appear to be sorting out. But unless you want to have that debate in court, I’d refrain from screwing with a drone.
