I see a lot of folks using subscript and tiny letters. How can I be as cool and vB-savy as they.

When you post a reply, in the tiny print up at the top, it says vB code is On. click on the linky-link for cool tips such as how to use underline.

Alternatively, if somebody has a post chock-full of vb-coding-goodness, click on the Quote link and all will be revealed.

Thanks… maybe I’m blind, but I use that vB code link all the time due to bad memory, but I’ve never seen and still do not see anything relating to font size. But, checking out someone’s code is a great suggestion. I’d call it briliant if it wasn’t so bloody obvoius that I’m going to hit myself with a wet noodle for not thinking of it. 🙂

The vb codes to use are \<sub\> for subscript and \<sup\> for superscript. (Except use instead of \<\>.)

It’s not mentioned in that page that gives the vb code tutorial, because I looked for it there not too long ago. I figured 'em out by trial and error.

A general tip on finding out how someone got an interesting effect: click on the “quote” icon for their post, and all is revealed. Always glad to help one of the Valar. 🙂

Well now, I didn’t steal too much from Ethilrist, did I? ☹ Sorry, my brain must have skipped a beat or something.

Also not included in the vB help page is the recently-added symbol font, which uses the sym tag. For example,
[[sup][/sup]sym]a b g d e z[[sup][/sup]/sym]
would turn into
[sym]a b g d e z[/sym]
