# Fonts on the Board

There’s a new guest…here’s a link to a thread he started in GQ.

When I look at his user name, though, all I see is four rectangular boxes. I know that on IE, if you go to a page that has text in some font you don’t have loaded, like Japanese, for example, you get rectangles in place of the text.

So is that what’s going on here?

I checked your link, and I see that name as 4 Asian pictograph characters. I can’t tell whether it’s Chinese or Japanese (or Korean, I guess). Seems like this could be a bad thing.
