I love coconut curry. I love shrimp. I hate coconut shrimp. Also, menudo. I can’t say which ingredients exactly did not jive. But there was no jiving. ---

Ice cream + soda = frothy vomit. Can’t handle that weird foam that ice cream floats make. And probably more amusing was my tuna omelet I tried to make as a kid. I enjoy tuna, and I enjoy eggs, and I even enjoy them together if the egg is hard boiled. That omelet went right into the trash, though. ---

Our local Indian restaurant makes an awesome Chicken Korma. I have taken it home a couple times and washed it down with my favorite beverage: Diet Cherry Vanilla Dr Pepper. Tastes terrible every time. I don’t know why I can’t remember that **before** I open the can. ---

Oh - no no no. Fruit and meat works all the time - roast pork and apple sauce for instance. Venison and cherry sauce. Lamb and mint (er - never mind)… ---

Black and blue cheeseburgers. Love burgers, love bacon, love blue cheese but hate this burger. The cheese and bacon clash and the sheer awesomeness of the ingredients is a bit overwhelming. Any pizza with BBQ sauce instead of tomato sauce. ---

Fruit and chocolate. Not even chocolate covered strawberries. The textures just seem so odd to me, and things like fruit-flavored chocolate bars (dark chocolate raspberry for example) are just weird-tasting. Keep your stinkin’ healthy fruit out of my chocolate. ---

Actually, I really experimented with blue cheese & burgers, and I found that getting a Whopper with only onion and lettuce, and adding blue cheese, was paradise. And BBQ sauce must never touch my pizza. Neither shall chicken, lettuce, or green peppers. ---

Orange Juice and Mountain Dew. Two great tastes that taste horrible together. Then again, add some vodka and you have what I call a Death Ray, which tastes even more horrible, but is glowing like sci-fi and has a taste to mask the alcoholic strength (Or instead, add absinthe for an 1890’s-style Death Ray :)) ---

Had a cup of coffee at work one day. Instead of adding the usual sugar packet or two someone had a an open bag of cherry Jolly Ranchers sitting on the counter. I like flavored coffees and from what I’ve seen at the coffee shops they just add a shot or two of what looks to be artificially flavored syrups probably made with HFCS. Same stuff I assumed Jolly Ranchers are made of. So I dropped 4 Jolly Ranchers in where they soon disolved. Nasty. Vile. Bitter. Blech. Down the drain. ---

I don’t know if even one is too much, but four Jolly Ranchers is about a quarter to a half the volume of a coffee cup. If you work up the courage again, watermelon is a more subtle flavor. Still, thanks for taking one in the name of science! ---

🚩 zombie alert It was either bring up a zombie or start the exact same thread. Mine are Eggs with cheddar cheese. I love eggs, I like cheddar. I love eggs with swiss cheese. But I don’t like eggs with cheddar cheese Chocolate and any bread product that you wouldn’t consider to be cake. Chocolate cake is good. Chocolate chip pancakes? No. Chocolate croissant?
