One of the “treats” at my old summer camp when I was a kid was York Peppermint Patties dipped in peanut butter. Sounds terrible, but it’s pretty good.

BBQ sauce on a baked sweet potato. It was Mr. Horseshoe’s idea, and I was convinced I’d married a madman … till I took a bite.

Vanilla ice cream with black pepper mixed in. I saw it on a cooking show on PBS. It’s delicious.

I like a little ranch dressing with my spaghetti. I just keep it off to the side, like a dipping sauce.

Cranberry juice with a shot of Frangelico. I was like “hazelnut and cranberries, what :dubious:?!” but it’s so, so good. The Frangelico gives the cranberry juice a hint of smoothness and moderates the bitterness a bit.

I was also harrassed to try Frangelico with freshly squeezed lime juice, but that, to me, is a step too far.

It inspired me for a curry base. Salisbury Steak Beef Gravy and chuck patties with a bit of peanut. redchile, and coconut creme.

Salted caramel.

There’s a store around here that sells dark chocolate covered salted caramels. Holy cats, are these amazing. Another little cafe has salted caramel ice cream, which I could eat until I asploded.

Barbecued shrimp with blueberry sauce. Had it at Havana Blue on St. Thomas as a gratis amuse-bouche. It worked really well.

Lesse, I’ve talked people into trying the not so bizarre peanut butter pickle sandwich. That’s good, and I love peanut butter and honey, and that’s good with a pickle as well. The pickle juice keeps the peanut butter from sticking to the roof of your mouth.
The only thing that quickly came to mind, an ex made me a sandwich. I don’t think it has a name. Fry up some kielbasa, add saurkraut and cream cheese, warm till cheese is melted. Serve in a toasted hoagie style bun. Very good!

Dill pickle with a chunk of cheddar cheese, bitten into simultaneously.

Pepperoni pizza dipped in ranch dressing.

And the classic thanksgiving traditional green bean casserole (gooey mess of green beans, cream of mushroom, and fried onions).

Psycho Donuts in Campbell, CA, sells glazed donuts topped with Captain Crunch. I rather liked them.

They also sell maple bars topped with bacon. Nummy!

Peanut butter, Mayonnaise and lettuce sandwiches. A babysitter made them for me when I really young, it took me 15 years to rediscover the goodness.
