Dishes invented by Mom (or Dad) 1. Zucchini and Pita bread 2. Salmon burgers I am sure my mom didn’t invent this but we had it on occasion and as far as I know, we were the only kids in town who ate these. My sisters say they are scarred now but I thought the dish was fine. ---

Leftover hot cereal, refrigerated in Tupperware tubes, then sliced into small discs and fried in oil (or bacon grease), served with butter and maple syrup. ---

Simmer in a gravy made with beef broth and corn starch. Delicious! I still make it. My husband talks about his mom making fried mush, @knoodler .
