That was exactly what I was saying. I figured if bees (as insects) and crabs (as crustaceans) were allowed, then so were organs. ---

I wouldn’t count crabcakes or sweetbread. They both have meat in them. ---

Crab _meat_ is meat in the same way the _meat_ of a nut is. If fish/shellfish count as meat then the world has been screwing up Lent (and other fast days) for a millennium or so. ---
