Do people not know how incredibly rude it is to get to the front of the line and then put in three separate orders, paid for separately? Can no one in your party do math? I’m behind what I think is one person and it turns out to be three. That really annoys me.
How come no one figures out what they want BEFORE they get to the front of the line? I have been in lines where the perosn in front of me was waiting for ten minutes, finally gets to the front, and all of a sudden realizes they need to decide on a purchase. I just don’t get it.
At some fast-food restaurants, they give more attention to certain types of customers, whether they be drive-thru, eating in the restaurant, and eating to go. One restaurant, that I used to go to all the time, gave #1 importance to drive-thru orders, #2 to to-go orders, and #3 to orders “for here”. If I just wanted to get one burger or fries and eat in there, I ask for it to-go so I can get it faster.
I do it in fast food restaurants in case my toddler has a fit and we need to leave quickly. I forgot to do it last week and had to stuff everything into a kids meal box. Very annoying.
I do not know is Visa still requires their retailers to accept a charge for any amount, but, in the US at least, Mastercard definitely does. As a retailer, you can lose your ability to accept Mastercard for imposing a minimum charge.
I’ve turned in one merchant for repeatedly refusing to let me use my Mastercard (which is also a debit card) for purchases less than $10.00.
