# Foods That Make Your Pets Go Crazy?

**Lynn** , did you have a [hamster ball](http://www.arcatapet.com/item.cfm?cat=1767) too?  
I had one for our little guy so the cats could “play” with it. Unfortunately, the cats were afraid of the ball. The hamster loved to chase the cats. :smack:

Yes, we did. And yes, the cats were afraid (or at least not fond) of the ball. In fact, this was our third hamster, and all of our hamsters have loved to try to make friends with all the cats, who are Absolutely Disgusted that the hamsters are in a secure but mobile ball. I think that we’ve had a total of seven cats (not all at once) who have been chased by a hamster in a ball.

Generally the cats would jump up on a chair and put on their “We are Not Amused” faces when this happened.

I agree with the ice cube thing. Also, our Catahula Leopard pup goes nutso for cucumbers, bell peppers, jalapenos and even seranos. She only gets small bits of the seranos.
