My mom offered me some “muskmelon” tonight. Now had she offered me “cantaloupe,” I may have taken some. As it is, I threw up a little in my mouth and declined. What food names squick you out? Anything else with the word “musk” attached to it is also on my list. ---

Spam. I find it funny because I associate it with junk mails. And yes, I do know that the word originally meant the food. I second stinky tofu. Cole slaw. To me, Cole is a name, and slaw doesn’t sound like something that sound be put into your mouth. Don’t know why. ---
