# Foot fetish or reasonable request?

So am selling some dance shoes I never use. I dance Argentine tango and the shoes I have for sale are some very sexy black stiletto sandals. I put up a picture of them and got a mail in reply asking what condition they are in (already stated, but okay) and then if I can take some pictures of them being worn with tights\*, “to see if they would suit me to wear at a wedding”.
Am I being cynical, or is that slightly off? I mean, they have a picture of the shoes, surely they can imagine if they’d look good with tights or not without me modelling them? Or do you think that it’s reasonable to ask for a picture of them being worn, rather than just sitting on a table?
In any case, I’m not super desperate to sell them quickly, so am inclined not to go out of my way. It’s hot weather and I don’t feel like pulling on tights to please some potential buyer, let alone a pervert. If they are for real they can come and try them on, I have no problem with that. But is it sketchy, or just fussy?

Heh! First time in a long while I’ve agreed with **kanicbird**!
The request could be legitimate: what do the shoes look like when someone is wearing them? Personally, I’d take the picture, but it would just be from mid-calf down.
There’s hardly any point in anyone asking someone else to produce foot-fetish non-porn: you can get it by the terabyte free on the www.
But, yeah, it could be someone being creepy. So, if it worries you, play it safe, and drop out of the deal. No harm.

I’d go with foot fetishist. Mostly because they required the tights.
But, if you have a male friend who can wear them, I might suggest sending a picture with him, hairy legs and all (claim you don’t have any tights). Foot fetishes tend to be gender-specific.
And as someone who has a foot fetish, this bullshit is creepy and I kinda want there to be some comeuppance. They’re the reason foot fetishists are seen as creeps.

A lady I know was working at a sales counter (not shoes!) and got suckered into letting a creep fondle her feet. He was very persuasive (and she was remarkably naive.)
Crap like that really does give the rest of us a bad name!

Yes, and sorry btw, I phrased it slightly awkwardly. I don’t mean to suggest that foot fetishist are “perverts”. Nothing against 'm, dated someone with a mild food fetish. It’s the sneaky thing that is obviously not okay.
As for the update. Sorry, it’s boring. I said I “couldn’t figure out” how to update or send pictures and they haven’t replied to that.

Yes, exactly. There’s just about every kind of porn, but I think internet creeps still abound. There want contact with an actual real person, not a film or picture, I think.

If they are strappy, I can see asking for a picture of them on just to determine where the straps sit on an actual human foot but the specificity of tights is a little odd.

I think there’s also a power element involved, that coercing someone into it is part of the thrill. Wouldn’t be as fun to just go online and find fetish pictures that someone willingly modeled for and posted.

Heh. My wife likes tall sexy heels. She wanted to get rid of some, so I put them on Craigslist.
When the person arrived to pick them up, I was surprised to see a rather eager somewhat nervous man. Of course, he might not have expected to see a dude, either.
It’s worth noting that he was a smaller fellow and my wife has larger feet.
