# Footwear throwing in movies

Hey, George Bush isn’t the first person to have footwear thrown at him. I just watched \*Pygmalion, \*and after the ball, Eliza Doolittle throws his slippers at Henry Higgins. This probably was repeated in \*My Fair Lady, \*but I don’t remember.

Who else, on the silver screen, has hurled footwear at someone?

Steven Weber took a stiletto heel to the brain in _Single White Female_, but that wasn’t actually thrown, so probably doesn’t count.
