You need to check out the median income for 1969. My guess is most people were paying 15%, with doctors and CEOs paying 25%. And there were tax shelters in 1969, just like today, for the people in the upper brackets. ---

That’s a big pause for thought, especially for those with, for example, African-American best friends. What if taking the deal caused said friend’s little brother to have been lynched in '62 for glancing at a white woman? ---

I’m there, dude. They had the polio vaccine. They had antibiotics. I lived through the 60’s, my kids could do it too. Aside from starting out with twenty mill, there’s also all the foreknowledge of investment opportunities and sports outcomes. Of course, you’d have to eventually live through the W years again, but billions of beautiful dollars would make it easier. ---

It also occurs to me that I could steal a bunch of Nirvana songs early and be a rock star too. There’s no downside to this except crappy TV and no internet. ---
