Absolutely correct. None of those animals should eat people. I’ll also add that people shouldn’t eat people either.

FWIW, SCUBA is insanely popular up here in the Puget Sound and the San Juan islands, as is surfing. The whales pretty much leave people alone, I guess the neoprene is hard for them to floss out.

I don’t know why people brave the frigid waters, probably the same reason we buy so many sunglasses and wear T-shirts whenever the temp rises above 50 degrees :slight_smile:

Probably because the area has some outstanding cold-water scuba diving. Vancouver does, at least, and i’m sure it’s not too different in other parts of the region.
