Rinbu-Revolution and Virtual Star Embryology from Revolutionary Girl Utena. VSE is the seconed ED and it freaking rocks. Sounds like a high-piched(sp?) duel song. Kiss in the Dark, from Eretzvaju. Will, from something I can’t remember right now. Carinval Babel and Duvet. Of course, Tank, but I like Green Bird better. Too bad it’s not a theme.☹ The Giant Robo theme without the voice. You Get the Burning from Nadesico Fruits Candy, the CCS ED3 Silent Wind (Don’t know the anime though) Only One, Number One, from Di Gi Carat Senobi Oshite Follow You, from Mahou Tsukai Tai! That’s all I can think of. ---

I find the songs from Knights of Ramune very funny, Mirakuru Bodi Ni Goyoujin and Sendo ga Kimete (I think those are the names). Dont like the show but love the songs. ---

_Hey Mr. Dandy_ wasn’t dubbed, it was originally in (accented) english. It was just really, really bad. Was it episode three where BGC had the totally inapropriate ending theme? “Irene’s dead. It’s all very tragic . . . HAPPY MUSIC, everyone!!” It wasn’t as bad as the english songs in _Tokyo Babylon_ or _Darkside Blues._ The only time I’ve seen english songs by jpop artists be not-terrible was the last episode of _Slayers Try._ Which wasn’t actually good, just painless. At least some of the soundtracks for _Cowboy Bebop, Riding Bean, Macross Plus,_ and _AD Police_ were in english originally. Speaking of dubbing songs, the only time I’ve seen this work is in _Key the Metal Idol,_ where the english versions of the songs were actually as good as the original ones. Actually, if not for having Suichi’s VA swapped for someone who really sucked in the last two episodes, (just when he gets more than five lines an episode) _Key_ would proably have the best dub track ever done. Ah, well. Macross Plus had the original singer redo one of the songs in english, but that didn’t really work. It was so obviously a different VA, they might as well just kept the song in japanese . . . Anybody else think that half the _Kenshin_ OAV soundtrack sounded like it had been lifted whole from _The Rock?_ Heh. Changing the lyrics to _Cruel Angels Thesis_ isn’t a big deal, though, as apparently they make no sense anyway. 🙂 – “But we’re Japanese Children!
