ms johnston did say she was “pushed” into having farley pass on. people around her were saying he lived longer than most oes dogs.
she couldn’t to the last trip to the vet thing, and didn’t just want him to not wake up… so having him die a hero was the best death she could give him.
of course you will notice that mike and eliz didn’t need rescueing from the creek. only the april fool girl, april needed the supreme sacrifice from farley.
