I was more interested in using the “how’s” when it makes no sense. On a thread that devolved into proper usage of English, “how’s” in the setting you used makes no sense so I steered it back to the topic I declared boring. How’s them apples? BTW, that’s more proper usage of a dumb contraction. ---

Oh, btw. I looked it up, which I’m loathe to do TYVM. And “how’s about” is in the dictionary and is listed as a colloquialism. I’m nothing, if not colloquial. Now put an “A+” on my paper, please. ---
