I donā€™t believe Iā€™ve posted here before but I have from time lurked to see what all the fuss was about. After all this time I have a couple of questions. Why is it so amusing to see the inconsistency in others that are intellectually inferior to you? I find it sad, not amusing at all. What purpose does it serve to mock others who think differently than you? Does it make you feel superior? Do you enjoy watching others make fools of themselves for that reason? I feel that if those are the reasons it is poor sport. I would rather take my chances anyday (and be made out to be a fool) with an intellectual peer than poke fun at Christians who are, shall we say, cognitively challenged. Our intrepid OP pointed out that the scriptural justification for Administrative power was offensive to him because while each of the Admin/Mods may be a servant of God (not you, **David B**!), the assumption of the title ā€œagent of wrathā€ seemed a little over the top. An additional poster came in and posted something to the effect of ā€œthe rules were always there, you just didnā€™t read them.ā€ An Administrator (sorry, didnā€™t catch which one) added that s/he was ā€œdisappointedā€ that the OP willfully misinterpreted scripture as part of his diatribe against the board authorities. I note that SoulFrostā€™s swan song thread has had its number reassigned to a thread about second chances. Since I love an ironic twist as much as the next guy, Iā€™ll be happy to relinquish the screen name Tim Barnes (B-R-A-I-N/S-T-E-M ā€“ get it?) to any banned poster whoā€™d like a **second chance** of their own. I find I donā€™t have much stomach for that crowd, except in a rubbernecking-fascination-with-a-car-wreck sort of way. Alternatively, if the consensus is that the continued infiltration of the LBMB is just too dreary a prospect for serious consideration, may I suggest a game of ā€œWho Can Get Themselves Banned the Fastest?ā€ SoulFrostā€™s record of 29 minutes is commendable, but I gather that the title of his thread could have skewed the outcome in his favor. Potential rules for the game: 1. All contestants declare themselves in or out of the race prior to commencing. 2. Deliberate flouting of the LBMBā€™s rules of engagement is encouraged (and possibly required), but any post which dares (in so many words) the administration to apply the ban is a disqualifier. 3. No posting links to pornographic web sites. In fact, if a reasonable person could be expected to believe that posting a particular link here would result in a [Moderator Hat On][Moderator Hat OFF] message from David B, donā€™t post it there. 3a. Posting the link to ā€œKissing Hankā€™s Assā€ would be just too easy. Doesnā€™t count. Imaginativeness does.
