No, it’s because I think you are a fucking moron who doesn’t even put in the effort to debunk a topic effectively. Who doesn’t even know the basic arguments, and yet condescends to them regularly. I don’t have a problem personally with **Voyager** or **SentientMeat**. So if it helps you feel good about yourself tell yourself that you touched a nerve or something. Wishing the deaths of American soldiers in Iraq because in his mind they are murderers is enough for me. There’s really no arguing with this guy. He sees it as he sees it (his right to do so), but he comes off as such an asshole it’s unbearable to me. He is definetely not invited to my next tea party. And I’m serving crumpets and everything. ---

Yeah, he thinks that his opinion on religion bothers me, and that I won’t argue with him because I am offended. When in reality it’s because he’s a dull twit. He hasn’t updated his arguments for as long as I’ve known him. So he asked why I won’t debate him, so I started this thread and linked him to it. ---

The guy’s a loser. I know it’s frustrating because there’s no arguing with him, but the truth is that you don’t _have_ to argue with him. I forget who I said this to before, but it holds true for you, too: You’ve already won the argument with this guy. You won when you got out of bed this morning. Hell, you won when you lost your virginity however many years ago. Just remember that the opinion of some 40-year-old basement weirdo who’s never been able to deal with the real world in a meaningful way does not merit your attention. No one would know this guy existed if he didn’t have an Internet connection. Don’t let him piss on your parade. Just smile, move on, and be glad you’re you. ---

[/QUOTE] Now, granted, I usually just see his posts, wonder who would say whatever he’s saying, then look and the name, think, “Oh,” and skip it, but he seems to talk about his high school experiences like they’re pretty fresh on his mind. Did he ever say anything that would give away his age? E.g. “back in the 80s I tried to kill Reagan.” ---

Thanks for the link. FWIW I’m very much on DT’s side rather than yours in this, but since you moved to the Pit (to avoid further hijacking?) I think DT ought to move here as well. You say DT hasn’t changed his arguments at all. Does he need to? You say he isn’t willing to learn anything from you. Are you asserting that, if only a non-believer would take the time to learn the minutiae of your brand of Christian theology, they’ll see how obviously true it is?
