$16,000 for TCOM? Among my TP-reading friends (and that’s a not insubstantial number) it is universally held to be the worst DiscWorld novel. I would fork out that amount - always assuming that I had it, of course - for Small Gods or Lords and Ladies, but TCOM? Er… no. My wallet stays firmly shut.

I realize this is a zombie thread and Dervorin may not even be around any more, but…

The advantage of having TCOM as your ultra-expensive rare collectible is you won’t ever be tempted to crack it open and read it.

Reprints of Martian Chronicles have moved to Subterranean Press and Neil Gaiman’s blog post of March 6th directs people who had orders in for Hill House’s Neverwhere to e-mail someone at Harper Collins.
