You’ve read the discussions. You’ve been intrigued, but not intrigued enough to pony up $50 to see what the fuss is about. It looks like I’m going to have to buy a second boxed set since my nephew refuses to give me back mine. Now’s your chance. I am usually not much of a fan of sci-fi (I have never seen an episode of Star Trek) but I absolutely LOVED **Firefly.** (The movie kicked ass as well.) ---

Also, I don’t know if they’ve done it before, but UHD is showing the series in HD on Thursday/Friday evenings (one episode a week), and they just started a run of it. I caught the pilot last night and I had to watch it even though I’ve seen it so many times before - it looked excellent (except for a few of the SFX, anyways). ---

Allow me to add my voice to the throng. It’s only the best show that ever got cancelled eleven episodes in… wait, that doesn’t sound enthusiastic enough. It’s awesome television, and I am picky about television. (No power in the 'verse can stop me!) ---

I join in with all due enthusiasm. Definitely worth a purchase. Haven’t seen the movie yet, though, so can’t vouch for it. But the series is great stuff. ---

How can you resist the combination of Whedon-y goodness and cheap-o sale? That’s right, you can’t! Luckily, I (barely) managed to resist purchasing the Complete Buffy as well (all right, I did not see the second link until it was too late).
