Well, I live in WA state and I am proud of it. I wouldn’t actually LIVE in CA unless my life depended on it. Although one of my best friends lives there, and of course I love to visit her. However, since we are in the same time zone (thank goodness, makes it SO much easier to phone) I think we need to share the blame. For whatever it is, and at this point I am somewhat fuzzy on what we are taking the blame FOR. 🙂 But whatever it is, I am right there in her corner. There are also several other Dopers I love dearly who live in CA, so… _Scotti dons the gloves and prepares to defend her friends to the death!_ And BTW, what kind of a name for ice cream is Sealtest? Must have been an east coaster who came up with THAT one! 😃 ---

You are always welcome here, especially with cookies. See, stamping is my current craft _du jour_ and my niece asked if I would help her make invitations for a bridal shower she is hosting. Of course I am happy to help. However, my darling hasn’t got a “crafty” bone in her body, so this actually translates into ME making the invitations while she wrings her hands and keeps telling me she wishes she could help more. All of which explains why I am here on a Saturday night TOO, doing the exact same things I was here doing on FRIDAY night. Who knew the bride had forty thousand friends?
