There was an unforgettable thread a while back about a WWE-style smackdown match between the primitive caveman god, Og and the eldritch trans-dimensional horror, Cthulhu. Unfortunately, “Og”, being a two-letter word, is hard to search for… ---

It seems I have inadvertently awoken a sleeping giant, for which I apologise 🙂 I like the idea of having a word for a generic deity linked to no religion in particular and guess “Og” is as good a name as any so as a non-believer in any existing religion I am happy to have an alternative to God to use in exclamations. For Og’s sake why didn’t someone think of this sooner! ---
