# For those needing a Survivor fix

[Survivor Official](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCjIC3e9nBnAHqGNCPXzdOcA) is a YouTube channel that has full seasons of survivor from various countries. We decided to designate one night a week and have been watching Survivor Australia season 3

They are on the island for 55 days rather than 39, they started with 24 players in three tribes and the end game prize is $500.000 instead of a million.

It has been really fun to watch so far

Also worth a mention: Mark Burnett’s old “expedition race” Eco-Challenge (a progenitor of Survivor) is coming back as a new [Amazon Prime series](https://www.amazon.com/Worlds-Toughest-Race-Eco-Challenge-Fiji-Season/dp/B08BB8S8FJ) hosted by Bear Grylls. I don’t know how the new version will pan out, but the original races in the mid-90s were the real deal.

Wow, thank you. And yes, Eco-Challenge was no joke. They never had a death, but when that one guy’s brain was swelling up and they had to helicopter him out, it was really close.
