I’m a bit bummed about losing all those posts after Dec 7th because they made up a significant chunk of my overall post count. I was up to 270 or so and found my count to be just under 190 when I returned to the boards this week. If you had a similar experience let’s get together in this thread and work on replacing some of those lost posts. I’ve never been one to post in post-boosting threads, but this is different because we _lost_ posts and are merely trying to regain our doper dignity (you can use your own excuse if that one doesn’t work for you). Let’s play some kind of game. Any game will do. -wm ---

I don’t remember how many I lost, but I’m pretty sure I was averaging over 1 post per day. Grr. Know how hard it is to bring that back up? I’ve found that playing the [Movie Chain Link Game](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=105021&perpage=50&pagenumber=1) has helped immensely. ---

I was around 60. Now I’m down to about 30-35. I lost half my posts, but some people lost a lot more than I did. ---

Post count is a sign of laziness as far as I’m concerned. I’m glad I get to fool myself some now. The only thing I am partially upset about is I lost all of my posts about how Cecil Adams is not the name of a real writer (summary) and how the clique and some moderators are reclining containers of fertilizer for trying to be cute about maybe he does exist, etc. on a message board dedicated to fighting ignorance. In fact, I’m so vain and self-centered, I think the whole supposed crash was just an excuse to get rid of my posts on the subjects. And I do love Carly’s song about me. Ya know, Mick Jagger does back ups on it. 😃 ---

I lost 400-500. I was over 600 when the board crashed and was down to 180-something when it came back. Wahh. ---

I don’t remember exactly how many I had before the Exodus. I was at about 470 or so when we got back. I think I was in the 600-650 range. So I guess I lost just about 25%. w00t. ---

Funny thing is, I remember being somewhere around 200-220 and when we came back I was at a massive 250. Maybe I have some of the missing posts! I’ll look in the refrigerator. ---
