I’m from California. It’s pretty clear that California does great film, but not so much that the rest of the world’s film culture can safely be ignored. But our porn? Best stuff in the world by far. Worst? Our citizens cannot distinguish that actors are not the roles they are playing. We have elected two bad actors to be governor, twice each, without understanding that we didn’t even get a reach around during their incompetence. ---

I find it hilarious that while Mississippi has the highest amount of churches, neighboring Alabama actually has the highest church attendance. Keep building 'em Mississippi! You’ll get #1 eventually! ---

Indiana is “least green”? :dubious: Isn’t there more coal mining in other states? And the best they could think of was “Most Vice Presidents” for the good? Bah. Well, I ain’t from here, I just live here. ---

What is Iowa best at? Getting along. People just seem to do it. There is an unusually low level of tension in the air for a state that is not composed entirely of white fundamentalist Christians (athough we’ve sure got our share). What Iowa is worst at is probably instrumental music. It’s become something that exists mostly to have high school competitions. Most Iowans would no sooner keep playing an instrument after graduation than keep playing football, and their tastes in the arts reflect that even if they’re culture vultures. ---

Okay, I have to wonder. NY is best for it’s use of transit. NY is worst for its commutes. Cause and effect; vice versa; or simply coincidence? ETA: Not that I have great faith in either of those claims for my state. NY should be best for most useless legislature. ---

Hmm, it seems Virginia is best at Presidential births and worst at motorcycle deaths. What if we had a President who was born in Virginia and liked to ride motorcycles? Would each condition cancel each other out? I’m confused. ---
