The exercise is not fun without making up more silly correlations\*:

**Maine**  
Least violent crimes and dumbest state: Ignorance breeds apathy.

**West Virginia**  
Most retirees and heart attacks: Where old farts go to die.

**Michigan**  
Best freshwater access and unemployment: I’d be at work if I wasn’t fishing.

\*\*Louisiana  
\*\*Biggest port and gonorrhea: How you doin’, sailor?  
\*My favorite is Colorado’s low obesity rate and cocaine use. I’m certain you people are more creative than I.

We have the most golf holes per capita, but also the most mobile homes. Who’s doing all that golfing?
