“Far worse than what Brett Kavanaugh was accused of”? Pfffffft. :rolleyes: What chance do you think there would be of Paula Blasey (assuming she knew about what happened and it was as Blasey Ford describes now) telling Brett Kavanaugh in 1982 that she didn’t think he had done anything wrong? Zero or zilch? :dubious: ETA: We’ve got to stop using this sexist phrase “took her virginity” (yes, I know that’s how BPC originally phrased it). Yuck. ---

I’ve seen it used for men/boys as well. In this particular case, I think that the fact that it was her first time makes the offence worse, as well. Because it represents this archaic idea of a “maiden’s” virginity as this precious possession. Same thing you see intensely to this day, for that matter, in conservative religious communities. ---

Read the whole linked thread. It was pretty funny, actually. I don’t think BPC did anything too seriously wrong based on his story. He had sex with a girl close to his own age, maybe not quite as close as she had led him to believe. The only evidence for her “developmental disabilities” is the word of her mother, who may not be a reliable reporter. Fenris is just being a dick here. Speaking of developmental disabilities, WillFarnaby seems like a classic Asperger’s case. I always picture him as Melvin Sneedly from the Captain Underpants series. Put on ignore list and move on.
