# Foreign Phrases in English Songs

I’m posting this in MPSIMS instead of General Questions because this question probably doesn’t have a General Answer.

In that song by **Michelle Shocked** , the one that goes like this:

_As I lay me down to sleep, yes I pray, that you will hold me near_

Yeah, that song. In it, during the chorus you can distinctly hear a chorus of children singing something that sounds like “Ooh lahng gahng go.” Does “ooh lahng gahng go” mean anything?
