# Forget a radar detector, I want a radar jammer!!

Motor Trend recently did a [review](http://www.motortrend.com/july01/radar/radar_f.html) of radar detectors. The article does not mention jammers, but it does give a short history on speed detection.

Such a device would unquestionably be illegal. Placing something over your license plate for the purpose of obscuring it is against the law in every state, province and territory you can drive to.
