Either way, I don’t see her offer as self-serving or demanding, but as an effort to show that she’s going to be a team player and do whatever will help the Democrats win. I’m not going to crucify her for it. It’s been a bad day for her – probably one of the most heartbreaking days of her life. ---

It’s _everyone else_ that’s crazy. 😉 [WaPo says](http://blog.washingtonpost.com/thefix/2008/06/montana_governors_senators_to.html) that in MT, Schweitzer, Tester, Baucus, and two other supers have all agreed to support the winner of the MT primary. So that’s another 5 supers for Obama. Plus the 16 or 17 he’s likely to net from SD/MT gives him 21-22 on the night. There’s also 5 remaining in the ‘Pelosi Club’ who will support the winner of the most pledged delegates (Jimmy Carter was in there, but he’s already accounted for), so that’s up to 26-27. As of this moment, DCW says he needs 27. Looks like the next one outside of MT, SD, and the Pelosi Club puts him over the top for sure. ---

I’m still LOLing at what Chris Matthews said. They were discussing how Obama could reject a strong Hillary VP bid. Someone mentioned that maybe he could get an assist from some big party guy like Gore. Matthews said, “Yeah, maybe you could get him to lay down the Inconvenient Truth” ---
