This really is a comedy of errors, isn’t it?
Not only that, he’s a campaign worker for Clinton from New Jersey.
I hope they paid his toll. It’s free to get into Jersey, but you gotta pay to get out.
New Clinton attack ad:
The Bosses Are For Obama!
You’re looking at it wrong. You have to pay to get INTO Pennsylvania. That’s our way of filtering out the Jersey riff-raff…
Not superdelegates, but 25 Of 35 South Dakota Democratic State Legislators Endorse Obama.
This can’t be good for Hillary:
Hillary Clinton on working class whites in 1995: “Screw 'em”
This article is gathering ‘diggs’ really, really fast. People will be talking about this.
Ah, yes, a president for all the people…unless you disagree with her, that is…then it’s screw you.
Fits perfectly with the impression I’ve had of her through the years and it’s one of the reasons why, even though Obama is more liberal than Clinton, if I were forced to vote Democratic in the upcoming election I would vote for Obama. I believe he’d take his role as president of the entire country more seriously and would moderate his views so as to try to accomplish what’s best for everyone.
Hillary thinks she already knows what’s best and if you don’t agree…screw ya. (And then, in her typical command-and-control style, she’ll try to cram it down your throat.)
I would also say that article illustrates perfectly what everyone pretty much already knows - that Bill Clinton is a hell of a lot smarter than his wife.
Ouch. And right before the debate…
Interesting article - thanks for the link!
::yawn::
I’m pretty sure everyone involved understands that Hillary is really kind of going through the political motions on this elitist hubbub. She doesn’t really think Barack is more elitist than her, she doesn’t really expect us to believe that she isn’t elitist, she just needs the negative attention to stay on Boy Wonder for a while.
Hearing that Clinton referred to people who didn’t vote for her husband in unflattering terms, that is news to absolutely nobody on earth or in heaven.
George Stephanopolos mentioned this today on GMA. Saying the supers are not happy with Clinton’s continued negativity. Good for Obama.
On the other hand, it’s free to get into Jersey from Staten Island (Goethals Bridge) but there’s a big toll going the other way.
New Jersey - welcoming the huddled masses onto the Jersey Turnpike since 1958 (or whenever).
And it’s just going to keep getting better. From http://thepage.time.com/. . .
And we can now add Oklahoma Superdelegate Reggie Whitten to Obama’s list, as well.
Life is good in Obamaland!
While he didn’t exactly shine last night he took some punches from the mods without wilting and maintained himself in a Presidential demeanor throughout. Hillary and Obama both were able to conclude with their sales pitches to the supers. Hillary stood by her pitch - “I’m the fighter you need. I’ve shown that I know how to fight and I am ready to battle.” (While earlier having backed down from her previous pitch that he can’t win while she can). Obama stood by his - “I can bring out new voters to the party (unsaid - these voters will vote for you too), weather the punches just fine, and build new coalitions that get things done.” (A much better answer than that the supers need to vote according to the pledged delegate count no matter what.)
The actions of the supers today and over the next week will tell which pitch resonates more with these, the most important voters left. How do they want the party to go? So far the verdict is looking good for Obama indeed.
I believe it’s not only looking good for Obama, but that he’s the one to beat. Obama fielded the hits yesterday like a pro - and the supers saw that. It’s going to reminiscent of what’s to come from the republicans.
Check out this endorsement. . . Watergate-era Republican backs Obama
Wow.
Nice!
I’m unsure what to make of that, Shayna. Do you think Ruckleshaus is endorsing Obama to win the presidency itself or just the Democratic nomination?
