# Former Soviet Republics...

Hey guys,

I’m in the process of writing a paper for one of my classes and was wondering if you guys can share your factual knowledge with me.  
Before the collapse of the Soviet Union, all former soviet republics (i.e.: Russia, Ukraine, Armenia, Kazakhstan, etc…) were all under communism.

What about after? Was the ideology different for all republics?  
It’s kind of a compare and contrast past and present-

Any help will be greatly appreciated!
