There are strict rules for marshals and some have different roles. That guy’s job might have just been to move the extinguisher to a location more convenient for other marshals who are trained to fight fires. ---

I was yelling at sainz to turn the wheels away from the wall so it would stop from rolling backwards. Basic driver’s Ed. Where’s my multi million contract, Ferrari? ---

I think that marshal ran off to get some chocks. Luckily the other marshal was on the ball and had some chocks (or a reasonable semblance thereof) as well as an extinguisher. What’s worse than a burning Ferrari? A burning Ferrari rolling backwards onto the live racetrack. ---

Ok, Ferrari blew it yet again. Both Charles, and the questionable late pit of sainz. I was hoping for blue smoke from max so Hamilton could keep his streak on a win in every season alive. Russell’s restart after that vsc was great. Overall, maybe not the greatest race, but it was certainly interesting throughout. Thankfully, no stupid monkey trophies. But the new trophies seemed a bit boring. Tough to see it up close though. ---

I am not sure why everyone is questioning the late pit stop. Ferrari obviously didn’t think Sainz’ tires could make it to the end of the race. ---

I mean, the photo is good, but the trophies are not. Not nearly as interesting as a monkey. I suppose the blandness of the trophy is inspired by the usual race. This year’s race was a bit more interesting than the usual race though (though just a bit more) and I think it merited a monkey trophy. Red bull was the real winner, only having to lug one of these bland trophies home. Merc got saddled with two. Maybe they will sell them on marketplace. ---

Impressive qualification drive by George Russell in Hungary. I think that with a two stop race for most teams he will be vulnerable to pit strategy, except the two cars behind him are Ferraris so we’ll see. Both Alpine and McLaren may benefit from any misteps from the top three, I think they have a decent shot at a podium. And Red Bull is going to make the start and first lap or two interesting. ---
