Yogurt Soda!.. It is a persian delight. You can get it homemade from almost all of the kabob restaurants here. It is pretty gross by itself but it actually tastes pretty good with food (like lamb kabobs). ---

Personally I love Root Beer. When I was a youngster and my friends would go on vacation, they’d always bring back a few bottles of brands that weren’t available locally. Mug is good, IBC is excellent as are Goose Island and Sprechers. I used to hate Frosty. Dads is passable and A&W is too creamy for my taste. ---

Nope, nope, nope - Big Red still gets my vote. I was just sitting here, perusing the thread, thinking to myself, “What was that 12 oz of horror I had when I was little? It was cherry 7up red, and tasted like carbonated bubble gum…What the hell?” when **Homebrew** supplied me the name. The cinnamon gum of the same name had me confused, but that was it. Horrid. I mean, come on, liquid carbonated bubble gum. You can’t find worse. Snicks ---

The term “bile” has come up often in this discussion, but I think it is not being used specifically. Vanilla Coke has an aftertaste of bile. Not just “eew, that’s yucky, I can’t define it”, but actual human pacreatic bile. I enjoy most sodas. I appreciate the metallic tang of Tab. I have quaffed an Irn Bru or two, and was happy to find out when I visited San Antonio a decade ago that Big Red was available in 3 liter bottles. After this thread, though, I’m going to send out for Moxie just to see. ---

Mint flavored yogurt soda. If it is the Persian stuff that dorkusmallorkus mentioned, I’ve had it and its not that bad. It is certainly not as vile as Pepsi Blue. Has anyone had Inca Cola? It is bright yellow and has a slight bubblegum flavor to it. My wife thinks that this is the vilest concoction on the face of the earth, but for some reason I like it. I bought a 2 liter bottle to try it and I didn’t like it at first but one night seeing as it was in the fridge and I was thirsty… I got used to it. ---

I think Inca cola tastes like a bad cream soda. It isn’t that bad but I won’t go out of my way to drink it either. ---

For me it is. Everyone thinks malta is to damn sweet and Kola Champagne costs an arm and a leg in the states so no one I know really drinks it except for me. ---

Kola Champagne is expensive? Back home it costs the same as a Pepsi or Coke to get from a vending machine. ---

Where is back home for you? It costs the same as Coke or Pepsi for me too whem I’m in Puerto Rico but once I go back to the states it is about $4 for a six pack. As a comparsion I pay anywhere between .99 to $1.50 for a Coke or Pepsi six pack here (Tampa). ---

Faygo Redpop. The only beverage that has ever made my puke. Lemon Coke is pretty bad. The comparison to furniture polish is a good one. Pepsi Blue is kinda bad, but Crystal Pepsi was much, much worse. It was like cream soda that had been administered as an enema, and then collected and re-bottled. Very disgusting, but it didn’t make me sick like Redpop did.
