**Found space object proves we are not alone** Humans have been sending out “probes” into our solar system and beyond in efforts to detect far off planets and other objects within our solar system, but it was never contemplated that we would see a “probe” that did not come from our planet; that is, until now. **We are not the only ones looking and listening.** **This probe came from an alien planet and it may not be the only probe out there.** When a probe is sent into the cosmos the signals sent from the probe back to its own world gets weaker the further away it travels. To maintain the signal, it is reasonable to believe subsequent probes were sent to follow the first one creating a chain of probes transmitting the images back to the probe behind it. The following probe that in turn relays these signals to the following probe. [Here’s](https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2021/01/25/have-we-already-been-visited-by-aliens) an article about this from the New Yorker. It is mysterious, it probably came from outside the solar system, but saying it is a probe would require a lot more evidence than there is. ---

Nobody is saying it wasn’t a mirage. It was an interstellar object, but deep space is full of those. Some are as large as planets. There is no evidence for it being artificial. ---

OK, assuming it was an alien craft that traveled a vast distance across the galaxy to visit our solar system, perhaps because of signs of life on the third planet. Why go so far but not get any closer to that planet? ---

It proves we are not alone, if you consider any interstellar object to be company. No one said the object didn’t exist. It’s a huge leap from interstellar object to interstellar alien probe. ---

I think the OP may be leaning on the weight of a “Harvard paper” as evidence. Because surely the smart people at Harvard can’t be wrong! But the thing is, as smart as the authors of this paper may be, they are biased. they probably got into astronomy because the thought of aliens excites them. So it’s very likely a Harvard undergrad got a little excited and pulled the “it’s aliens!” trigger a little prematurely. ---
