Bolding mine. I realize we’re in the age of factory farming and all, but isn’t some human handling required , at least between the incubator and the pen? I’m surprised it took that long to notice it.

umm… aren’t the normal legs the rear ones, with the “front” ones being more commonly referred to as “wings?”

I take it to mean that it’s a six-limbed chicken - two wings, two normal legs and, posterior to those, two nonfunctioning legs.

I’m sure her butt and tailfeathers covered the nonfunctioning legs to the casual glance.
