Yes. Four Thousand. And it saddens me beyond belief. See, [this](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?threadid=27684) is what happened when I hit 3000. Dammit, June 16? Two months ago next wednesday. A few days before… it all ended. Two months… on the one hand, it seems like an eternity. On the other hand, he is still right here. This is without a doubt the most pathetic post count party ever. But I don’t care. I miss you, **Wally**. ---

I’ve found myself missing him too, lately, Coldfire. The buttons we received at our Flint Dopefest last night that Baglady made contribute to that melancholy feeling. But congratulations on reaching 4000. If Wally were here, I’m sure he would be giving you a hilarious zinger, something along the lines of how you’re coming very close to reaching your 100th worthwhile post. Only about a thousand more to go. 😉 Now get me some European brew that will grow hair on my knuckles, dammit! ---

Maybe you missed the memo . . . after hitting 3500 posts, nobody is allowed to have a life 😉 Makes it easier to hit 4000, and then 5000. Coldy, seems like you post 500 times a month, or so . . . that’s about the rate I’m going, as I reached 1000 posts on or near August 6, and I joined June 6. Yojimbo, make mine root beer, please. ---

Oh well, Yojimbo, we knew we couldn’t count on YANKS to be able to hold their beer. Glad to see my two favourite Paddies in good shape though! Looking forward to drink a few Guinness (and dammit, maybe even some Murphys!) with you lads in October. ---
