Who has seen these advertisements on TV? Specifically, the one where a guy does a dirt swan dive. Are these real or just very clever/good editing? There doesn’t seem to be a breakaway from the ‘action.’ Does this guy really dive onto dry land? Dead? Injured? Not real? If you haven’t seem them you can at [adcritic.com](http://adcritic.com) and use quicktime to view any of the fox commercials. The one I am referring to is Fox: Turkey.

I’ve seen it, and I was wondering the same thing. What I am thinking is a stuntman “dives” but lands on a typical crash pad that most stuntmen use and then they edit the sounds so it sounds like he’s hitting the dirt. Anyone else?

I’ve also wondered about that one. Part of me thinks it must be a stunt, but part of me thinks that there probably are people dumb enough to do something like that. Ever seen MTV’s _Jackass_?

I guess it could be some type of padding covered with dirt, to make it look like the ground, with the sound dubbed during editing.
