# Fragile psyche

Had the Doc offices PA come see me this morning. He looked nervous.

He said I need to tell you something. But your psyche is so fragile, I don’t want to.

I was able to say “Why"?”

He tells me.

My guy, I’ve had bad news my whole life. My psyche is bloody well _not_ fragile.

I have some fragility. Sure.

I assure you my psyche is fine.

Oh, the news was not very bad and did not damage my fragile psyche, at all.

What the heck?

Yes Beck - people should know to give it to you straight up. Mincing of words isn’t always preferable.
