on Sopranos and Goodfellas his character was just out of a long prison sentence when he was on the show/movie. BTW there are around 22 actors who were in both Goodfellas and the Sopranos. Some of them had very minor roles in Goodfellas such as Big Pussy and Paulie Walnuts.
