Looks like it stuck me in the middle of a farm, waaayyy over on the other side of the river (moo!). WAG, it picks the geographic center of the zip code to stick the pin. ---

I’m actually in Damascus, Maryland, but we’re too small to show on this map so they list me as Gaithersburg. It takes me 35 - 45 minutes to get to work and that is\* still \* Gaithersburg. ---

Apparently, I’m in the Mystic River. I hope I have a boat or something. When the map is zoomed out, **Telemark** and I are right on top of each other (same zip code), but zoomed in, it puts him just about where I actually live, and I get dumped in the river. So there’s more to it than just locating the center of the zip code. Maybe a random spot within the zip code? ---

Well, it got pretty close with me. Only off by a couple of blocks. What’s really neat is that I can see my house clearly enough that I am tempted to go outside and wave. I wonder how often it updates the picture? Every year or so? ---
