My neighbor’s sweet little two year old daughter was born a pinhead. On her behalf, I find your remark offensive and demand you apologize.

Yuuuppp. I’m usually pretty good at at least intellectually understanding the cultural context of older movies (and/or movies set in the past) so I can view them through that lens instead of the current day.

But Animal House… just… no. I can SEE it through that lens, but I cannot ENJOY it or think the sexist (and racist) shit is funny. It’s just gross.

I’m sorry, Kayaker, I have meant no offense to you or to your neighbor’s little daughter. What I said is a direct quote from a 1960s comedy LP by Alex Robin and Earle Doud, “Welcome to the LBJ Ranch!”
