I saw a special on the making of it, which was intensely funny unto itself. By that time only Marty Feldman had died ☹ but now Madelyn Kahn (sp?) has passed too ☹ . I’ve always like her (see Clue). I enjoy it when a director keeps the same group of actors and such around him. It makes it more of a family effort (i.e., Monty Python-more of a troup than a group but still!, Silent Bob- can’t think of his real name). Just putting in my two cents, like anyone cares :mad: ! “Class…dismisssed…” I can’t really quote the part that made me laugh the hardest first time around…but the sight gags of the blind monk/Gene Hackman and Frankenstein had me laughing to the point of tears and beyond. BTW… My horse racing trainer friend was telling me about an owner who chose odd names for his horses. One they didn’t understand at first was “Abby’s Not Normal.” I totally busted up when they said that and explained the _Young Frankenstein_ reference. (They also said he had a horse named “Flaming Moe,” which also made me chuckle. Had to explain the _Simpsons_ reference…) So watch for that filly out here in the SoCal circuit–she’s actually been doing pretty well for herself! And did anyone catch the inside-humor of the Halloween episode of _Everyone Loves Raymond_? I mean, what ELSE would Peter be but Frankenstein’s monster… ---
