Anyone ever heard of this Tennessee outfit? My credit card fraud dept., just notified me they had tried to ding my account twice yesterday. Glad they’re on the ball. Just wonder how they got the cc number.

It’s a convenience store chain. Someone got your CC number on a phony card and tried to use it at one of the stores.

Concur with coach, CC-stealers usually start out with something modest (to see if the card is denied or not) before trying to make substantial buys (or at least that’s what I’ve read). MAPCO runs gas stations/convenience stores in N. Ali-Bama, they are a legit business.

Cancel your current card and have your company send a replacement card, if they haven’t done so yet.

They had contacted me when the transactions occurred. Card was immediately cancelled and a new one being shipped out today.
