Any number of people have sold electricity from solar panels to their respective electricity providers. Indeed, some laws have been proposed (passed?) to make that illegal, as it has an unpatriotic effect on utility profits. They don’t even think about draining the sun’s energy until it goes out! Fuckin’ hippies! ---

The idea that this qualifies as rational thought among the right physically sickens me. I honestly don’t get it. Does the OP not realize how fucking insanely stupid they sound right now? Someone (most likely) earnestly thought this was a reasonable, sensible argument to make. The sole question left in my mind is what fucking _pathology_ one could use to describe the American right wing. There’s clearly something very, _very_ wrong with them (the kind of mental disorder which should lead to restrictions in the franchise), the only question is, _what_? What the _fuck_ is wrong with these people? How do you get this stupid? How do your mental faculties decay this badly? ---
